I will be home in officially less than *ONE* week. I can't even begin to explain how fast this semester has flown, how much I've learned, and how much I have appreciated my experience in Ireland. I am so thankful that I took a leap of faith and went abroad. Best decision of my entire life (with the possible exception of the purple jacket below).
That being said, I am ready to be back in the loving arms of the USA. Some of the things I'm looking the most forward to upon my arrival are:
1. My sweet, sweet, reunion with Dunkin' Donuts. That is my first stop when I get off the plane and if I don't consume at least 12094120 worth of glorious, Dunkin calories, I will have failed myself.
2. Bundling up in my purple parka and beans boots. Last winter this was my uniform, and I can't wait to cozy up and face the weather again.
3. Seeing my parents. I miss you people.
4. Revisiting all of my favorite spots. Dave's, saying hello to the ocean in Rhode Island, my couch... the list goes on.
5. Working. I am so eager to get back to work over break! It's going to be nice to have something to do during the holidays and while retail during Christmastime can be, uh, nuts, it's really fun. Definitely makes the shifts go by a little quicker.
Your comfy cozy room awaits and pantry stocked.....c u soon. Very proud of you honey.
