Back to Basics: Instant Coffee

Coffee is super-different in Dublin. At least from what I've experienced. The first day I got here I went to a coffee shop and asked for an iced coffee and got a coffee milkshake. Happily drank it... but still. So my housemates and I took a chance on Nescafe. On the real, if this was in my life sooner I would have saved so much time and energy (and money). It sounds like it would be terrible, but yo, add a little vanilla and cinnamon (& Irish whole milk OF COURSE) and you're set! Seriously, it's so good and so, so cheap. As one of the laziest people I know, this is such a great solution.

Unfortunately it does not fill the Dave's-shaped void in my life... but for now it's doing the job. Have to find a way to get my hands on some coffee syrup out here!

P.S. The coffee here might not be the best ever but I did drink a Nutella Latte the other day that might be the solution to world peace.

  1. They do instant coffee so much better than us. Have you explored all the chip flavors, that is something else.
